A letter to our Membership
This year we have made several steps forward in establishing a competitive Junior Golf Tour in the Mid Atlantic Area of the East Coast.
1. Scheduled seven events at world class venues from Western Pennsylvania to Central Maryland.
2. Established sponsorship opportunities from such companies as Nike Golf, Pukka Headwear and Tour Sticks.
3. Marketed to over 500 Athletic Directors and Golf Coaches for High Schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, the AJGA and PGA Sectional Junior Golf Directors.
This year we have also taken a step backwards. With a push to hold tournaments throughout the summer we have not received the desired tour and event registrations as expected. Due to this, we have decided to cancel all junior golf events from July to September.
We will be focusing on our 2nd Annual High School Invitational. Below are the details about this event:
Date: October 9th and 10th
Location: Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown Delaware.
Format: 36 Individual Stroke Play.
Cost: $125 (No MSJGT Membership Required)
This event will be Nationally Ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard.
The MSJGT will refund all tournament entries paid to date. If desired we can automatically registered you for the 2nd Annual High School Invitational and apply the MSJGT Membership Fee as your Tournament Entry Fee. Please let us know if you would like us to do so. If not we will refund your MSJGT Membership Fee.
