Event Structure
Each tournament has a participant limit, normally this is 90 players. To avoid being left out, please get your entry and fees sent to the office early. We cannot accept any entry form without payment. Slots will not be held without receipt of funds. The MSJGT will place players in the field as long as the tournament is not CLOSED regardless of age group or gender. All MIDDLE STATES JUNIOR GOLF TOUR events will be 36-hole stroke play. There may be events that are three day events. Please consult the schedule page for those. There will be two age divisions for boys (13-15 & 16-18) and 2 age division for girls (13-15 & 16-18). There also will be a 10-12 combined boys and girls division. ALL OF OUR EVENTS ARE "NATIONALLY RANKED EVENTS" by National Junior Golf Scoreboard  as their qualifications are met and they agree to rank the event.

Tournament Standby
Players not entering events early enough to obtain a spot in the field may come to the course the first day of the tournament and apply for a stand-by slot. If you obtain a slot, the additional cost for the event will be $10. There is no guarantee that a slot will be available. Sign-up for stand-by at tournaments sites will begin 1 hours prior to the first tee time of the day.  Stand-by will be on a first-come first-served basis.

Tournament Start Times
Most tournament rounds will start between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM. This depends on the facility, available daylight, weather, and field size. Tee times will be available on this website THREE DAYS prior to the event. Tee times are established for Day 1 on a random basis.  Day 2 tee times will be set by score with the best scores in the each age group teeing off last. The tournament will not accept specific requests for tee times or for pairings.

Tournament Deadlines/Tournament Field Size
All entries must be received no later than 5 days prior to the event. Tournament entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with events being closed when 90 players are entered unless the host facility allows us more entrants. Entries received late will be put on a waiting list in case of withdrawals. "Stand-by" entries will be taken the day of the event if players will personally come to the course and sign up as a stand-by participant.
