Once this has been received by the MSJGT staff, you will receive an email confirming your withdrawal. If you need to withdraw on the morning of the event, please also contact the host facility. Please refer to our refund policy. Waitlist Policy: Our registration process is run on a “1st come 1st serve” basis. If an event becomes oversubscribed, we will form a waitlist that will also be “1st come 1st serve.” Once a player withdraws, we will call the first player on the waitlist to offer them a spot and so on. Please be patient as we will call you if a spot becomes available. No Show/No Card: If a player does not show up for an event and has not made contact with the MSJGT staff prior to the event, it will be recorded. The same procedure will be taken if a player does not turn in their scorecard at the end of a round. If either of these events occurs twice, the player will be suspended from future MSJGT events. If a player chooses to withdraw during a round, please be respectful and inform a MSJGT staff member. If a staff member is informed, it will not be recorded as a No Card. Tie Breaks: A tie for 1st place will be dealt with a by a sudden death playoff. Playoff holes will be decided by the committee prior to the event. Ties for any other place will be handled according to the scorecard playoff procedure. Scorecard Playoff Procedure: A winner will be decided by the lowest score on the last nine holes, (the last nine holes will be 10-18, even for a shotgun starting format). If a tie still exists after the last nine holes, then the winner will be decided by the last six holes. If a tie still exists, the winner will be decided by the last three holes. If a tie still exists, the winner will be decided by the last hole. If a tie still exists, the scorecard procedure will be applied to the first nine holes until a winner is decided. **Note: Our first priority is a sudden death playoff, but if for any reason, a sudden death playoff cannot occur, (inclement weather, course availability, etc) then we will resort to a scorecard playoff. Tournament Registration & Tee-Times: All tournament registration will take place online. Tournament registration for MSJGT events will be accepted up until 10 days prior to the event. Tee-times will be posted online 7 days prior to the event. If a waitlist is necessary, it will be posted 7 days prior to the event as well. Stroke Limit Policy: There is no stroke limit in the Middle States Junior Golf Tour. Caddy Policy: Most of our events will not allow caddies, however we will provide opportunities throughout the year for juniors to experience working with a caddy. Please refer to the specific tournaments information page to see if caddies are allowed. Measuring Devices/Range Finders: Measuring devices and range finders are prohibited in all Middle States Junior Golf Tour events. Cell Phone Policy: Use of cell phones by players, parents or spectators will not be permitted at any time during tournament play. If a player violates this policy, they will be disqualified. Weather Delay/Cancellation: In the event of inclement weather, the MSJGT staff will sound one long air horn. At that point, play needs to stop immediately and shelter needs to be found. An event will only be cancelled if the players’ safety and well being is threatened or if the course becomes unplayable. Cart Policy: Players are not allowed to rent motorized carts. There may be shuttle services provided at some events and players will be notified at the start if this applies to an event they are participating in. Pull carts are allowed as long as they are in compliance with the host course’s policy. Parents/Spectators may rent carts, if the course allows. However, ONLY 2 carts will be permitted per group. Carts will be rented to parents/spectators on a 1st come 1st serve basis. If there are already 2 carts rented for your group, no other carts will be issued.
